I’m looking forward this week as I travel to the Disney Yacht Resort Club in Orlando, FL.  I received a call earlier in the year from financial services veteran, Robert Ellwanger Jr. CLU, ChFC, LLIF, located in New York.  I was floored as he invited me to be a speaker for the 2010 LIMRA Marketing and Research Conference with the theme this year being, “Create a New Tomorrow”.  What an HONOR to speak to an audience of financial services management and practitioners who operate in the areas of marketing, marketing research, public relations, advertising, corporate communications and marketing services.  Bob said to me…

“You definitely appear to be ”ahead of the curve” and I appreciate your interest in sharing some of what you’ve learned with marketing specialists from a diverse spectrum of insurance and financial services firms.”

When I have any spare time, I love to work together with financial planners, financial advisors, insurance agents and investment managers to help them better communicate and spread their message of financial hope.  I find it ironic that the people who can help the common person the most, in a time of financial distress, are the ones that much of the media has conditioned everyone to stay away from.  How sad.

I have many of my colleagues who serve in the financial services industry who help people day in, day out financially change people’s lives for the BETTER! They have single-handedly transformed a desperate financial home into a truly wealthy, happy and meaningful family legacy.  Surprisingly enough, the news cameras aren’t rushing to their home and office to film such a story.  However, social media tools have changed the landscape of marketing and communications to the small business owner.

The above video was taken from a NHSN monthly meetings as I spoke to their organization of sales and marketing professionals.  Big thanks to Rey Vega, Antonio Lugo and Freddie Torres for their leadership in hosting this event and many more!

This is a little flavor of what I will be talking about at the LIMRA Marketing and Research Conference…as we “Create a New Tomorrow”.  Keep me in your prayers, please!!!

If you need a financial speaker for your event, conference, in-service company training or expo…give me a shout!
