It probably would not be accurate to call him anti-401k.  Anti corruption?  Yes.  Anti participant abuse?  Absolutely.  But anti 401(k)?  No way.  That&#039;s how he makes his living!

I know Brooks Hamilton, and I wouldn&#039;t paint him as anti-401k.  On the contrary, I think he loves the 401k and simply wants it to be operated the way it &quot;could be.&quot;   He doesn&#039;t want the 401k to go away.  He wants it to be fair, transparent, and give all available advantagesto the participant.  That&#039;s certainly not too much to ask, and it is easily doable.
