Victory for Veterans: Taking the Fight from the Battlefield to Success on the Homefront
The taste of freedom is different for those that have trained, fought and sacrificed for it. But the transition from fighting abroad to entering civilian life, is a difficult dynamic for many U.S. veterans. Having been an active duty U.S. Marine deployed to the Middle East and Africa with Special Operations units, I cannot deny I thought about the status of my finances, my future and uncertain paths at least once or twice. Furthermore, once my tour of duty was over, I found it difficult to be in an atmosphere that lacked mutual accountability, discipline and committed teamwork as the Marine Corps provided me for 10 years.
Inspired by Steve Sepessey of Cleen Macheez visit to the radio show last week, we decided to dedicate this week to helping United States military personnel and support units with specific insights, encouragement and actionable steps to be a hero in their homeland.
